Privacy Policy

The short version

This is a personal site. It has no accounts, no logins, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking cookies. The only personal information it ever receives is what you type into the contact form and send me on purpose.

The contact form

When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, subject and message are sent straight to my inbox as an email, via Resend, which handles the delivery. It is not written to any database, and it is not stored anywhere on this site.

I use your email address for one thing: replying to you. I will not add you to a mailing list, and I will not pass your details to anyone else.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like effectively every web host, Cloudflare processes standard server request data (such as IP addresses) in order to serve pages and to protect the site from abuse. I don't have access to a per-visitor record of that, and I don't build one.

Embedded videos

Videos on this site are hosted on YouTube. They are embedded using a click-to-play placeholder: nothing is requested from YouTube, and no YouTube cookies are set, unless you actually click play. If you do, YouTube's own privacy policy applies from that point on. I use the youtube-nocookie.com domain to keep this as limited as I can.

Projects and demos

Interactive projects run locally in your browser. Anything you type or draw in a demo stays on your machine and is never sent to me. Where a demo is hosted by a third party, that is labelled on the page, and it only loads after you click to run it.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience. I don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent me personal information through the contact form, email me and I'll delete it.

Your data

Since the only thing I hold is whatever email you chose to send me, you can ask me to delete it at any time and I will. Email geoignite12@gmail.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
